Sylvie Guillem, a star dancer, at the height of her career, was asked by a reporter what she would have done if she hadn’t become a dancer.
She answered that she would have become a nun, adding that she found nonetheless the similar spiritual enlightenment in dance because she viewed it as a life requiring solace, rigor commitment and total devotion.
It fed her soul.
And it showed.
And it shows on any stimulated individual; from performing artists to sound and music composers, film directors and writers, doctors, firefighters; it broadens from successful entrepreneurs to devoted field workers.
